Fresh Cream Bra For Kim

I finished a bra up for my friend last week and wanted to share it! Following are some super crappy pictures but still...
I used Danglez DB3 and ended up having to take little tucks in the top cup like I did for my pink bra. I really thought it was going to work for her since she's bigger than me. Oh well!
The tucks don't show here 'cause I took this picture before she tried it on. I sewed the tucks and then gave it to her before I could photograph it again. Sorry! I'm lame!

It's not the best sewing job ever and for some reason my machine decided to dick around with me for awhile. I kept having to rip out the zigzag stitches because they were seriously messed up on the bottom/bobbin side. I mean like totally wacked up! I think some little fingers had been messing with the tension or something. I fixed it though (I think). The fit turned out pretty good. The bottom cups fit her well but we couldn't get the wires to sit against her breast bone. I didn't see her in it after I took the tucks so maybe that helped some. She likes it so that's good!

Happy Friday!

Lucky friend...How lucky is she to have her bras made for her?! Great job. I wish I could find a pattern for me with the straps that come up from a side panel, rather than the top cup. I was thinking of drafting a pattern myself?!Using the pattern I have as a starting point.

So awesome of you to sew a bra for a friend!! It looks very nice.

Thank you both! Millie, you can alter a pattern to do this. I'll have to find the info on how to do it and I'll email it to you!

You're fab bra has inspired A Revelation. Yea. Verily. I think rather than foolishly attempting to make my own bras I should HIRE YOU do make them instead. Right? Right? C'mon. Right? Uh... ok, so fitting in person is problematic. We can make it work! Right? Right? C'mon.

OK, so that would be "your" fab bra. Not, you are a bra.

SNEUTER!! HAHAHA!!! Best word ver EVER!! I'm pretty jealous of Beangirl. Although I'm still taller than her midgetness. So there.

She should totally drive the 15 hours and go with us to see Edith Head's exhibit. Cause you're going. Right??

My stupid comment isn't going to post right though. You just watch.

Nope. Can't comment. Form won't let me use my google log-in! I hope they figure this out soon. I'm getting annoyed!

Oh man! I do not know what is wrong with this thing Angie! I'll have to go play around with it and see if I can fix it on my end.
I would so love to go the that exhibit, btw. It sounds really cool but we're 6 hours away. Geez, I don't live near anyplace even remotely awesome! This sucks.

Beanie: You have a fabulous idea going there but it's too hard to fit through the 'puter or phone. Dangit. Not like I couldn't use the extra moolah. Ask Angie. I've said it before, you just need to buck up and make yer own! =P

sneuter...that's funny.
